A countywide worship and keynote program is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at Fairhope United Methodist Church, 155 South Section St., Fairhope. The keynote speaker will be Justice Pam Baschab, a nationally recognized Alabama attorney known for historic legal achievements and a lifelong commitment to justice. She is the daughter of a former Foley police chief, the first attorney to defeat a sitting judge in the county and a figure whose real-life legal work was depicted in the motion picture "Just Mercy." Organizers said her appearance brings a personal connection to Baldwin County’s history while underscoring the weekend’s focus on community strength.
