Jamie Waldhour

Jamie joined the Fairhope UMC staff in 2011. Jamie and his wife Rachael moved to Fairhope from Prattville, AL. They are both thankful and excited to be serving together at this wonderful church, in this beautiful city. Jamie received his B.S in Recreation Administration from Auburn University.  He served as a Youth Pastor for 16 years and during this time, received his Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. Jamie and Rachael are currently raising four children – Jack, Nathan, Marley and Emma. Jamie has experienced working in several settings such as Camp ASCCA (Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults), day camps, summer camps, sports camps, SIFAT (Servants in Faith and Technology) and countless short-term missions all over the world. He enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, or just relaxing in the backyard. Jamie is an avid marathon runner and logs many miles in training for the next one.
