Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.                    -Hebrews 13:3 (NIV)

The Loxley CBF/CWC opened during November 1995 when the Center was converted into a combination work center and work release center with the addition of a new building. The new dorm had a capacity for 144 community custody inmates to coincide with the existing building’s capacity for 160 minimum custody inmates. During March 1996, two modular units were added to increase the work release’s capacity for 325 inmates. Subsequently, additional housing has been added to increase the capacity to 370 inmates.
